Ernest W. Moody

Ernest (“Ernie”) W. Moody is an inventor, philanthropist and real estate developer. For more than 15 years he has contributed to the development of thousands of acres of sustainable agriculture properties throughout Hawaii Island and Kauai. His commitment to preserving and enhancing the islands’ land and ocean environment are not only illustrated by these investments but the fact that he has maintained a home here on the Kona-Kohala Coast for many years. During that time he has contributed generously to many local charities with gifts of land and cash. The Kohala Kai luxury residential development is his most recent offering for, in his words, those who value privacy, natural beauty in a unique, tranquile environment.

Charles A. Anderson

Principal Broker

Charles A. Anderson (“Charlie”), the Principal Broker and owner of Hawaii Pacific Brokers, LLC., has lived on the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii Island for more than 33 years. He has been a licensed Realtor for more than 25 years. Charlie specializes in land acquisition and development, while focusing on the island’s unique ranch and farm lands, as well as oceanfront residential properties.

His many years of experience working with surveyors, title and escrow companies, the County and State and attorneys have honed his ability to expertly assist his clients through the process of securing and/or selling their special piece of real estate.

Charlie feels a career in Hawaii real estate is all about helping people find their place in paradise. while achieving the client’s investment goals. By serving the needs of his clients, the rewards are many and on-going, he says.

Charlie has worked hand-in-hand with his investment clients to see that, when possible, they are given opportunities to give back to the island community. He was largely responsible for more than $1.5 million of investor donations in both land and cash. These donations benefit various island causes. His efforts also have included the preservation of the lands surrounding the birthplace of King Kamehameha and the Mo‘o Kini Heiau, ensuring they will be free from development.

His passion for organic gardening and island living translates to a unique understanding of sustainability and creating beautiful island home estates. Charlie believes that the future of Hawaii Island will be enhanced by sustainable agricultural development and the creation of “green homes”. The new Kohala Kai development, featuring 63 pristine oceanfront acres and just seven expansive homesites, is the most recent example of his commitment to this goal.
